The Position
As part of the PR, Events and Influencer Engagement team, the PR & Creator Partnerships Manager plays a unique role in shaping how Canadians connect with Plan International Canada’s mission. This role ensures the organization shows up through trusted voices and authentic storytelling, reaching supporters, donors, and partners on platforms they rely on for credibility and connection.
Equal parts strategist, project manager, and relationship-builder, you’ll bring ambassador, influencer, and content creator partnerships to life, raising awareness with key audiences, inspiring action, and driving fundraising for girls’ equality and children’s rights.
We’re looking for a true ‘people person’ – someone who builds trust effortlessly, thrives on collaboration, and brings experience in public relations, influencer marketing, talent relations or social-led campaigns.
You’ll take on strategic ownership of Plan International Canada’s Celebrated Ambassador, Influencer and Content Creator portfolio, spot and develop creative opportunities, and juggle moving parts with confidence. You’ll lead relationships from identification and briefing through activation, delivery and reporting. You’ll work closely with your PR and social media colleagues, and join forces across Marketing, Philanthropy, Programs, and Partnerships teams to execute integrated campaigns, events and fundraising initiatives.

- Identify, engage and manage both Celebrated Ambassadors and one‑off impactful celebrity partnerships across campaigns, fundraising, events and PR/media moments
- Steward and grow current relationships with Celebrated Ambassadors
- Vet, recruit and onboard new ambassadors to expand Plan International Canada’s reach and relevance with key audiences
- Brief ambassadors for public‑facing opportunities with clear messaging and guidance
Public Relations campaigns, events and media support
- Contribute to PR and Communications campaigns, media relations and key moments to drive fundraising, donor engagement and strengthen public trust
- Develop ambassador and influencer engagement strategies for priority initiatives
Cross‑departmental collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing, Philanthropy and Programs on events and partnerships
- Enable ambassador and influencer support for fundraising and donor engagement
- Act as a responsive, solutions-oriented partner to internal teams

As our ideal candidate you will have:
- 5-7 years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, talent relations, social media, or integrated communications
- Proven experience developing content creator, influencer, brand ambassador campaigns and managing multiple talent and/or creator relationships
- Confidence communicating directly with high-profile individuals, content creators, influencers, talent and agents
- Excellent judgement, relationship‑building, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends and best practices
- An aptitude for human‑first, authentic storytelling – with an ability to spot and create resonant stories, and guide creators and ambassadors accordingly
- Attention to detail, and advanced writing, editing, briefing, research and fact‑checking skills
- Experience planning and managing budgets and tracking performance metrics
- Events and experiential marketing experience an asset
- A collaborative, team player mindset and positive attitude
- Personal values aligned with Plan International Canada’s mission to build a more equal world for girls – and all children
