The Position

The Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for developing and executing compensation and benefits programs that drive employee engagement, support organizational performance, and reflect our organizational values. This position also leads HR reporting and analytics, providing insights that inform workforce strategy and continuous improvement.

What success looks like?

  • Lead the annual salary review process, incorporating market data, performance reviews, and internal equity considerations
  • Administer the annual short-term incentive plan in collaboration with Finance
  • Lead the optimization and administration of the HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors), ensuring data integrity, integration with HR processes, and effective collaboration with external consultants to enhance system functionality
  • Generate quarterly HR reports and analytics to inform strategic decisions and track key performance indicators
  • Advise on salary recommendations for new hires, promotions, and internal equity adjustments
  • Review and approve offer letters to ensure alignment with compensation policies and practices
  • Manage daily benefits operations, including health, dental, life, disability and wellness programs
  • Partner with brokers and benefits providers to ensure high-quality service and cost-effective plan design
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to inform program design and salary decisions
  • Participate in job evaluation processes to support role clarity and compensation alignment

As our ideal candidate you will have:

  • A proven track record as a valued Compensation and Benefits Partner
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems. Experience using SAP SuccessFactors will be considered a strong asset
  • A flexible and agile work style; navigating complexity and collaborating with ease

Plan International Canada is a hybrid workplace. You will work from the office and from home.  

 

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $ 64,000 and $ 80,000. We comprehensively evaluate a variety of factors to determine fair compensation, including experience, specific job-related skills, and relevant educational or professional training. Additionally, we ensure that compensation is equitable across our team and aligns with current market trends. This role also qualifies for an extensive benefits package and generous paid time off.
